Verdict
The form of MAY'S BOY'S second place at Musselburgh in December has worked out very well and with the ground coming in his favour he can make a successful start in handicaps. Vinstar probably didn't have much to do to land a Market Rasen maiden but he's been steadily progressing and doesn't look overburdened. Trust Thomas has now gone 13 starts without winning but has gone close on several occasions and it wouldn't be a shock if he finally got off the mark. Quick Brew ran a fine race in a novice hurdle here last month but couldn't sustain that improvement at Wetherby a couple of weeks later.
