A small but competitive field goes to post for the first on the card but the principals look to be Wise Wager, Rightprice Premier and Evanesce and the tentative vote goes to Wise Wager. The selection was a good second on his debut behind Rightprice Premier last time out and with that experience behind him and at the revised weights he is taken to gain his revenge on that rival. Evanesce rates the main danger on his latest win over Polar Dawn but that was over six furlongs and the drop in trip is not sure to suit. Katie Boo was a fair second behind Smiddy Hill last time and that form gives her definite place claims, but Smiddy Hill has since let down the form and for that reason she is opposed. Of the remainder Angelofthenorth ids from a yard in form and is another that is sure to improve but for the winner we return to Wise Wager.
