Leg Spinner, Just A Fluke and Little Jimbob are three against the field in this maiden and the vote goes to Leg Spinner. The selection showed enough on his debut when third behind Andean to suggest he could win a race of this nature. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Just A Fluke rates the main danger on his best form but he was very disappointing of what looked a fair mark in a handicap behind Woody Valentine last time and for that reason he is opposed. Little Jimbob is another worthy of respect he has ran well in defeat on many occasions notably when second behind Ruttters Rebel. He should appreciate this longer trip but he may just need the run after a 275 day absence. Of the remainder The Rip is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Leg Spinner.
