TREEHOUSE can land the staying chase with Chernik and Ocarina others to catch the eye. A dour stayer, he ran well over an inadequate three miles at Newcastle and if the going stays on the softer side, the seven-year-old should have conditions very much in his favour. Chernik is quirky. He has won previously over an extended three miles at the course in the past and should not be dismissed lightly despite some unpromising form figures. Ocarina takes a big step up in trip. The two-and-a-half miles that he regularly campaigns over has seemed inadequate for some time. Matmata de Tendron could be very well handicapped these days but has been disappointing. He is 8lb lower than his hurdles mark and the market seemed notably weak on his latest performance at Sedgefield. Lucinda Russell's team have enjoyed a good season so expect to see a bold showing from Master Sebastian. Stagecoach Diamond seems to like life from the front but he has been beaten by some sizeable distances on the last two outings. Top Dressing has not won for some time but as with any Howard Johnson runner at this track, he needs to be watched in the market for any signs of inspiration. Off a light weight, Treehouse is likely to have plenty of supporters this afternoon and we are prepared to row in also.
