Verdict
CAT SIX is the reluctant pick in the opener where most of the opposition are unexposed including Douryna whilst Galant Eye is another from an in-form yard. The selection bids to defy a penalty for an impressive win at Catterick which is no surprise given that she's due to race from an 11lb higher mark in future. It was a bad race and she has half a mile further to travel on ground that's likely to ride quicker so it's not difficult to pick holes in her chances. However, that was her first run for the yard and the run was by far and away the best of her career so it would be unwise to underestimate her. Her chance is possibly aided by the fact that very few of her opponents have done a great deal to suggest that they are capable of winning races. The majority are unexposed and could be granted their first realistic opportunity of doing so so a close eye should be kept on the market but a couple to monitor are Douryna and Galant Eye. The former has been well beaten in all six starts but may appreciate this better ground whilst Galant Eye has shown signs of late that he should be competitive from this sort of mark but we'll side with the obvious one here in Cat Six.
