A good contest this one, where Mary Revelry's My Line looks capable of defying a 7lb rise for his recent course and distance win and follow up, with Minster Glory and Moscow Dancer the obvious dangers. My Line it clearly very much at home at Carlisle, having enjoyed three of his four wins here, on either the flat or over the sticks. Having finished second over course and distance earlier in October, he came back later in the month to beat Chem¿s Truce by two lengths. With the recent rains also even more in his favour, the application of blinkers and a 3lb claimer on to negate the penalty, everything points to a follow up win for the Reveley runner. Minster Glory has been in cracking form of late, winning twice in chases under Tony McCoy. Rated fully 24lb lower over hurdles than over fences, his connections are clearly trying to take advantage of that here while he is in form. However, it is a big ask of a 12-year-old to go and find the speed to win a hurdle over this trip after an eight and a half year absence at the discipline and that could prove decisive here. Best of the rest looks to be Moscow Dancer, who was produced by Peter Monteith to put some poor form last winter behind him and win on his seasonal reappearance at Kelso last week. If he does not suffer from the dreaded bounce factor then he can give the selection most to do, but we will are happy to side with course specialist My Line.
