The penultimate event on the card can see the luckless Gabla finally visit the winner's enclosure, with Hollows Mill and Mister Chisum out to stop him. A prolific winner on the Flat in New Zealand, Gabla would have gone close to making a successful debut over hurdles at Perth in July but for a mistake two out. Richard Guest's charge has not been out of the first three in four subsequent outings and deserves a change of luck. He should now be fully acclimatised and there should be no excuses. Hollows Mill was a beaten favourite at Hexham and has had plenty of opportunities, while Mister Chisum was in good form in the spring but has gone a bit off the boil lately. The rest make no appeal and Gabla has his best chance of coming good.
