Commercial Express could be of interest on his reappearance off a lenient mark back over hurdles in comparison to his current chase rating but Peter Monteith's gelding may prefer a stiffer test of stamina and preference is for Topaz Lady, who gets the vote with Solway Bee rated the pick of the remainder. The selection could hardly have won any more impressively than when successful at Hexham last month and, despite having been raised 16lbs for that success, he still looks to be well enough treated and gets the vote. Jim Goldie's Stravaigin had to work hard to win at Newcastle last time and may struggle off his new mark, while Ballykelly ran better at Huntingdon last time but may struggle to give weight away all round. Bleu Pois is better than he showed at Newcastle last time and Howard Johnson's gelding has to be respected along with Solway Bee, who has shown improved form of late but preference is for Topaz Lady.
