In depth

Verdict

Twelve Paces looks well treated on improved chase form for David Pipe and may be worth chancing back over hurdles on his first start for Peter Monteith, getting the verdict ahead of Fistral and Sinatas. The last mentioned, a stable companion of the selection is less exposed than most of these and should appreciate the drop back in trip having failed to stay 2m4f last time. Bijou Dan ran better on the flat recently and could be of interest back over hurdles, while Mini Minster looks to be going the right way but seems a shade high in the weights. Similar comments apply to Soul Angel and of more interest may be Peter Niven's Fistral, who showed improved form at Doncaster last time. Twelve Paces has plenty going for him though and he is taken to make a winning return and debut for Peter Monteith.
