        Verdict

        A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Esoterica, Jaassey and Carr Hall and the narrow vote is given to Jaassey. The selection was a fair second behind Walnut Grove last time out and with the booking of Kevin Darley catching the eye he looks the value bet in an open affair. Esoterica rates the main danger on his latest second behind Drink To Me Only but he just gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him on that occasion and for that reason he is opposed. Carr Hall is another that could go well but he was behind the selection last time and there is no reason why he should gain his revenge on these terms Of the remainder Jellytot and Kasumi are from yards in form and are others to note in the market but for the winner we are happy to return to the progressive Jaassey.
