Sir Michael Stoute is not known for wasting journeys northwards. DANTE'S VIEW represents the master trainer here on the back of two solid placed efforts. The form is the best on offer and he is hard to oppose with the Newmarket handler having booked Danny Tudhope for the mount. Baladio and Roman Stone look best of the newcomers on paper but the likely danger is Yellow Tiger. The colt has shown some promise in French maiden company and has now joined the powerful Mark Johnston yard. It is almost impossible to compare French and British maiden form and it is likely that the market will provide the best guide to the chance of the Wootton Bassett colt.
