Verdict
Ile De Paris can make his long journey worthwhile by landing the finale. Skenfrith and Nevada Red may emerge as the main dangers. Richard Lee has his string in fine form at present and the selection is no exception as he comes into this race on the back of two fine runs over hurdles. He's effective over fences and should be in the mix. Few are ruled out with any degree of confidence but Skenfrith and Nevada Red proved their liking for this sort of test when filling the first two places at Kelso. Skenfrith rallied gamely to win with 9 lengths to spare but is saddled with a penalty whilst a relatively quick reappearance after such an exacting test must be a slight concern. Master Sebastian still has to prove conclusively that he stays this far whilst Laertes, Young Smokey and On Y Va were all well beaten last time so there's every reason to side with the in-form Ile De Paris.
