Verdict
An open heat that may go the way of Dinnie Flanagan but Kirkside Pleasure and Gunner Royal also make plenty of appeal. The selection was poised to make a winning debut for this yard at Warwick only for disaster to strike at the last. Remedial action is sure to have been taken and he had jumped well in the main on what was his first start over fences. He's feasibly treated for his handicap bow and should go close. Scrappie was backed into favouritism last time but never went a yard so has a bit to prove as does Aitch Doubleyou who may fare better now handicapping. Star Player is bred for this game and may be able to step up on the form he's shown over hurdles whilst Diamond Cutter has had just the one start over fences. Gunner Royal is on a lowly mark and is entitled to come on for last month's run whilst Kirkside Pleasure ran a fair race behind Brave Rebellion and Truckers Lady last time but his yard has struggled for winners here. All are considered but Dinnie Flanagan gets the nod.
