Sunnyside Tom and STEVIE GEE come into this race in great form, after wins over course and distance so it should be close between the pair but we have marginal preference for the latter; Daawitza should also make the minors. The Alan Swinbank-trained selection looked impressive when trying a mile for the first time when last seen and responded really well to pressure to get the better of two rivals in a tight finish. Some of his best career form has come over 7f and he looks capable of following up on his most recent success over the shorter trip here. Fierce competition should come from the way of Sunnyside Tom who has won twice over course and distance so far this year. He won with ease when last seen but everything seemed to go in his favour. Things may be more difficult for the gelding now stepping down to a trip he struggles over but he should still be a strong rival to the selection. Daaweitza is on a fair mark and should make the money.
