After three seconds in a row, Very Intense disappointed when sent off favourite over hurdles at Wincanton in February and makes his chasing debut. Brae On is better over further and it remains to be seen if he can translate his hurdling form on only his second start back while The Orange Rogue has already had 10 runs over fences and isn't getting any closer. NEFYN BAY needed the experience at Catterick but the penny began to drop in the closing stages and he'll know more today. Tambour Major's fourth here last month wasn't entirely without promise but this looks tougher.
