Tojoneski can land the finale, with Kyle of Lochalsh, Platinum Charmer, Red River Rebel and Golden Chance all out to make things interesting. A trappy contest to go out on can go the way of Tojoneski who gained an overdue success when getting up to beat Sovereign State close home at Musselburgh at the end of July. That was no more than he deserved after some creditable efforts, and off only a five-pound higher mark, he should put in a bold bid to follow up. He should almost certainly have the measure of Kyle of Lochalsh who was back in fourth at the Scottish track, although Jim Goldie's charge has since obliged at Hamilton. It remains to be seen whether his recent tumble there has affected him though. Platinum Charmer has gone off the boil of late but is dangerous at best, while Red River Rebel saves all his best efforts for Beverley but will go well round here. Golden Chance has his first race outside of amateur company in two years and is best watched unless the market speaks in his favour, and we return to Tojoneski as the pick.
