    Verdict

Helibel should have improved enough to take this at the expense of Miskina, with Averline best of the rest. Amanda Perrett's juveniles always come on for a couple of outings and Helibel can prove no exception here. This daughter of Pivotal has been seen twice at Goodwood, on the latest occasion finishing a fair fourth to the useful Nephetriti Way. She stuck to her task well and although in reality another furlong would not come amiss, that will be offset by the inferior opposition she meets now. The best of them should be Miskina, although she too is bred to be suited by further. Her second to Chase The Rainbow at Catterick was not too bad and Mick Channon's filly should be in the shake-up. Averline has a tendency to find one or two too good, but will no doubt be prominent for a while. The colts in the line-up are nothing special, although Kabreet will come on in time, but for now it is hard to escape the claims of Helibel who can get favourite backers off to a flyer.
