YOUNG SIMON is the call in this competitive handicap with Barlaman and Lady Willa respected as players. George Margarson is not adverse to sending out winners at this track and while Young Simon has yet to get his head infront, he has run with credit at this course previously and his recent Yarmouth effort can be safely overlooked as he met trouble in running at a vital stage. Barlaman is probably worth another try over seven furlongs but the tonguestrap doesn't really seem to have made much difference to his fortunes. Lady Willa represents unfashionable connections though her latest run did at least show some level of ability. Interakt landed a gamble over course and distance though this did not escape the attentions of the handicapper. Ramamara is a typically hardy individual from the David Evans camp but she looks thoroughly exposed these days. King's Approach should have won more races than he has but has been a notably weak finisher at the business end of matters. Young Simon is our recommendation.
