GOLDTREK looks to be on the upgrade and he can take the measure of Celtic Dragon and Allannah Abu. Roger Charlton's fortunes have improved following a sluggish start to the campaign and the recent Lingfield winner seems to have found his trip having campaigned previously over a mile. Fast ground suits. Celtic Dragon represents a yard that have had winners. He was probably overestimated by the handicapper having ran three decent races in maidens but has at least come down the weights of late. Any Sir Mark Prescott handicapper at Brighton has to be feared and while Allannah Abu showed little at Yarmouth on his handicap debut - he could improve for stronger handling today. Tom Wade has not quite lived up to the standards of his stable. Affirmable has given the impression that she needs a step up in trip so the market has to be noted accordingly. Goldtrek appears to have the most plausible case on paper.
