Swiss Cross is one of three course and distance winners in the line-up and does best on switchback tracks. However, he's on a lowly mark for a reason nowadays having shown little lately. Jimmy's Hall has won twice here over shorter trips but Port Lairge looks better treated. Dr Red Eye was only headed inside the final furlong at Catterick on his return to action but hasn't won for a long time whereas Snappy Guest won twice over a mile at Windsor last year and made a very promising reappearance at Kempton. GOOD LUCK CHARM (NAP) looked to be on the way back here last week, however, and he's now only a pound higher than when successful over track and trip in the autumn taking into account Hector Crouch's claim.
