      Verdict

      SHEILA'S LAD had Sayesse behind when third on his debut at Leicester and was then only beaten half-a-length at this track last week. Ability to handle this course is always a plus and Stan Moore's gelding sets a decent standard. Nile Empress was a 20,000gns yearling and is a half-sister to two middle-distance winners so will have no problems with the trip. She looks the danger with her stable in cracking form as Areyoutheway and Masquerade Bling were both cheap buys. Princess Way is gradually improving but still needs more.
