Juste Pour L'Amour showed improved form to win over course and distance last time and is fancied to follow up in this competitive race; Johannian and Miss Madame could be the biggest dangers. The latter showed a good attitude when winning at Yarmouth last time and seems to be improving, while Johannian never got in a blow at Chepstow last time but has slipped to a fair mark now and could go well at a nice price. In a competitive race, El Chaparral and Didoe may struggle to defy their penalties, and bigger dangers may come from Alafzar and Flint River. But Juste Pour L'Amour won very nicely over course and distance last week, and seemed to benefit from being ridden with more restraint. As that was an apprentice handicap, he escapes a penalty here and is worth a bet to land a quick double.
