PREMIERE KRUO comes from a yard in form and gets the vote to land this handicap ahead of Lancaster Lad and Lady Florence. The selection carries bottom weight in what looks like a very competitive race. She caught the eye when finishing third of twelve at Chepstow last time out and gets another chance to run off the same mark here. She is still a maiden after seventeen attempts but if recapturing that same level of form she will be difficult to beat. Lancaster Lad showed improved form when finishing third over course and distance last time out. He was good enough to land back to back races at Bath and Brighton last summer but has now fallen back down the weights after a run of bad form. Knowing he can act around this track and is potentially well treated he therefore warrants plenty of respect. Lady Florence is another maiden who has been running well in defeat at big prices of late. Her latest run at this venue reads well so she should be closely monitored in the betting market. Premiere Krug ticks more boxes than the majority of his rivals and is taken to land this handicap.
