Rio Royale ran better with cheek-pieces last time out at Goodwood and they are applied again here, whilst BOLDINOR was the narrow victor ahead of Sirjosh at this course and we like the look of him today ahead of the unfavourably penalised Sermons Mount. Boldinor kept on well towards the finish over six furlongs here earlier in the month and coming back after a short break he seemed refreshed in that contest. A 4lbs rise doesn't seem unkind and the seven-year-old has performed far better this year so we think he could follow up here and get back-to-back wins. Despite finishing only second last time at Chepstow, Sermons Mount goes up 5 points in the ratings and is somewhat harshly treated in this handicap. A lack of winning form is also a concern, but he has been getting very close and another strong challenge is expected with a first time visor applied. Rio Royale looks to be an alternative after a much improved run on his last appearance. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him there or thereabouts at the finish. In this contest we side with the winning form of Boldinor to triumph once more.
