We concentrate on the previous course and distance winners in this race and there are no less than four to choose from, but with Choreography penalised for winning here last time out, Seneschal not performing as well lately and Patavium Prince coming back after a long break, we give the vote to OCEAN COUNTESS to secure the victory. Just over a length behind Aegean Shadow last time at this track, the selection ran a good race and was slightly hampered. Not penalised for that runner-up place, she stands every chance of adding to a fantastic record at Brighton that has seen four wins from six runs. Seneschal has shown little since last May when winning at this course and at Salisbury. A long, long way behind the winner when finishing last at Leicester most recently means we swerve him. Choreography has to be respected for a good win when winning last week here over the trip but we think Ocean Countess has the reckoning of the Jim Best trained gelding so we side with her today.
