Coup d'Etat, Scripted, Improvise and Maxamillion are the four we like here and the vote is given to Coup d'Etat. The selection caught the eye when staying on strongly at the finish when fourth behind Enforcer at Goodwood. This colt from the John Dunlop yard handles cut in the ground and if he can reproduce his latest effort then he will be hard to beat. Scripted showed improved form over this trip when fourth behind Azahara last time and he again looks to have place claims, but he is bred to be suited by a longer trip and may be one to follow in handicaps over further. Improvise is another that could go close as she ran well when dropped in trip to finish behind King Marju last time. The return to this distance should suit but she is not yet proven on ground this soft so at the likely odds she looks worth opposing. Maxamillion has shown a modicum of ability on similar ground but his overall profile suggests he has a bit to find with some of his rivals here and we will stick with Coup d'Etat as our idea of the winner.
