Verdict
Fantasy Crusader is the selection with Golden Platitude and Call My Bluff cited as the most obvious opposition. Fantasy Crusader is a frustrating character at the best of times but he has shown an aptitude for this track and having ran creditably over shorter trips on the all-weather, he has to be considered to be a big player off his current turf mark. Golden Platitude would be interesting if any money is seen for him trackside. Walter Swinburn's charge has been persevered with at this age in spite of some moderate form figures and first time eyeshields are tried. Call My Bluff does have a tough job off topweight although he should have few problems getting today's trip as he was campaigned over further when trained in France. Princely Ted was second in a dire seller at Lingfield. He had winning form in Spain so should be watched in the market. Ground Patrol has not seen the course for some time but this is far from a negative at this level as Bill Turner is capable of having them well tuned up and he has ran well here previously. Front running, Our Kes is on a fishing mission over this longer trip. Fantasy Crusader appears to have fewer negatives than most and receives the vote.
