        Verdict

        None of these can be recommended with any confidence. A token vote goes to FUJIN given he's slipped 10lb down the weights since June and finished a bit closer at Newcastle last time. Shaunas Spirit has also tumbled down the handicap this year but has done all his winning over further on the all-weather. Captain Scooby has a recent second to his credit but Ficelle has been well beaten since winning this last year and finished last at Chepstow on her latest start. Novalist and Diamond Vine can make the frame off their current marks but haven't won a race between them since 2012.
