      Verdict

      It was soft ground when BURMA BRIDGE finished second over track and trip last week. Richard Hannon's charge looks the one to beat on that evidence. Brandon Castle ran well over a mile here last month only to disappoint on his recent start at Salisbury and Alexi finished a bit closer last time but My Strategy may improve past her after a modest debut effort at Newmarket. The remainder have even less to recommend them.
