Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

North Fleet, Taranis and Under Fire are the three to consider here and Under Fire is the selection. North Fleet had shown signs of a return to form at Folkestone before scoring at Windsor last time and although shouldering a penalty here must be respected. He is clearly progressing and must go well. Despite a disappointing run at Musselburgh recently, Taranis is generally in good form and Sir Mark Prescott's runner has twice run well at Ayr lately. This is a tricky track though and he may prefer a more galloping circuit. After good recent efforts at Leicester where he wasnt beaten far, Under Fire lost his maiden tag at Bath last time in game fashion. That will have been a confidence boost and he can follow up here. Under Fire can prove too hot for his rivals.
