BLUE TANGO has bumped into a couple of smart ones recently but this looks an easier race and he can see off What's Up Doc and Goose Green. Amanda Perrett's gelding has a 4lb higher mark today after losing out in a photograph to Granny McPhee here last month. His form is really stacking up well and seeing as he appears to have a solid attitude there appears no real reason to desert him now. What's Up Doc showed at Fakenham last time that he is in good form, taking a selling hurdle contest. However he beat a dodge-pot into second so the form may not be anything out of the ordinary and despite an attractive mark of 67 he is taken on. As is Goose Green who is another course and distance winner and he was only 3/4 length behind the selection last time. On exactly the same terms he is respected but still passed over. Inspirina looks handicapped to win races, Agapanthus needs a market check as he tumbles down the weights, whilst Freedom Fire has been in consistent form over the winter on the all-weather but still only has one win to his name. Competitive stuff, where preference is for Blue Tango.
