King's Ransom, Princely Ted and Amnesty look the three to concentrate on here and the vote is given to King's Ransom. This four-year-old ran a fair race at Folkestone last time when sixth behind Colwyn Bay. The horse that finished fourth in that race Sharaab has since been out and win so the form looks solid enough and we think he can land this prize over this more suitable trip. Princely Ted ran a blinder here when second behind Cheveley Flyer last time and there is no doubt that he is holding his form well this season. A reproduction of that latest effort would certainly make him competitive here and as a consequence he has to be shortlisted. Amnesty has got the ability to trouble the judge today, but his best form is with cut in the ground and on that basis we will pass him over. Voice Mail finished well beaten in a claimer here last time so can't be backed with any confidence, which returns us to King's Ransom as our idea of the winner.
