This gives DESPERATE DAN an obvious chance to extend his revival; Timeteam and Liberty Trail are others with sound claims, while Louphole has the ability to win at this level and will be a threat if he rediscovers his will to win. That's a big 'If!', though. Liberty Trail has run well over a variety of trips, rewarding his supporters by winning or making the frame on 10 separate occasions. He has lacked a change of gear over sprint distances in the past, though. Timeteam ended a long losing sequence earlier in the year but has reverted to type of late. Dropping back into selling grade is a logical move, however, and he can be a player here. Nevertheless, Desperate Dan is by far the most consistent of these and, as he has gone well here in the past; the nine-year-old is fancied to take some stopping as he bids to record the nineteenth win of his career.
