    Verdict

Another puzzle for punters here and plenty of the octet declared at the overnight stage have solid claims. However, Goodwood Prince has improved with each outing this term and the return to Brighton could be just the spark required to see him home. Malapropism will undoubtedly run an honest race and be on the premises at the finish. But he is hard to win with so a bigger threat may be presented by Semenovski, who is holding his form well at present. However, this looks tailor made to suit Goodwood Prince's style of running and the three-year-old is taken to gain a deserved first win of the campaign here.
