A devilishly tricky selling handicap in which narrow preference is for ART VALUE who has run with credit at the track before. Michael Wigham has his horses in fair form and this lowly-rated individual could provide another winner. Although no stable star, this son of Barathea ran well here back in May and is unlikely to be far away as he bids for a first career win in fifteen starts. Kochanski was able to take advantage of a similarly weak race at Beverley last time out but may find this tougher under her 6lb penalty and she is reluctantly opposed. Fleur De 'Lion shaped with much more promise at Bath last time and like the selection has run well here before, Heart Of Tuscany needs to improve for the drop in class, whilst Royal Arthur looks to be very nicely treated if getting it all together and the market is worth watching there. Desert Lover has stamina issues, Turner's Touch is interesting with Ryan Moore taking over from a succession of apprentice/amateur riders, whilst course winner Casablanca Minx is more consistent than many. A tough race to call, but Art Value may be the answer.
