Verdict

This is undoubtedly a better race than the maiden that Trainnah won at Pontefract but the 200,000gns purchase could find further improvement in first-time headgear. SINGYOURSONG looks a worthy opponent, however, having won three of her six career starts. She found the company too hot when favourite at Newbury last week but is worth a try over this longer trip and may be some value against a likely hot favourite. Lady Marl is no mug but may struggle to give weight to younger rivals and Solveig's Song tends to struggle in this grade. Visage Blanc was still beaten six lengths when second last time at Salisbury.
