Queen Aggie bids to repeat last year's victory off a 6lb higher mark but three-year-olds had won the two previous renewals and the younger generation can triumph again via VOLITION. She has shown decent form in maidens and this looks easier than the handicap she contested last time at Doncaster. Carlisle second Bajan Rebel represents the in-form Mick Easterby, who doesn't run many here. She hasn't travelled down from North Yorkshire for nothing but Invade hasn't run since April and, though holding Elusive Ellen on all-weather form, was behind Queen Aggie at Wolverhampton at the start of the year.
