    Verdict

    Like so many from his yard, MATCHMAKING improved for the step up to middle-distances and won at Yarmouth on last week’s reappearance. There’s likely much more to come from Sir Mark Prescott’s charge and he’s taken to shrug off a penalty. Berkshire Spirit has yet to win though this is easier than his recent tasks and he’s preferred to last week’s runner-up here, Photonics, who can race off the same mark.
