FITZSIMMONS showed some improvement when placed over today’s trip at Windsor on his latest start. The Godolphin charge never looked like winning but is helped out by Jason Watson’s 5lb claim today and may well be good enough in this company. Sudona also finished a bit closer at Goodwood last time and is preferred to both Cortado and Sweep Of Diamonds, who have yet to figure, but Sharg may improve for today’s longer trip on the back of a modest debut effort.
