Verdict

A modest contest to open the card with at Brighton and Truly Wonderful is taken to overcome top weight and get the better of Easily Averted, Disco Diva and Parallel Lines - although Hantton, who broke the course record when purchased for 28,000gns after winning a seller here on her debut, is another to note in the betting. The Mick Channon-trained selection has been kept busy since losing her maiden tag at Sandown earlier in the season but has continued to run with credit is the face of some stiff competition of late. Her close up second to Free Tip at Nottingham last month reads especially well in the context of this race and the daughter of Highest Honour will be a tough nut to crack if she is in the same mood today. Channon's charge has been slowly away on occasions which has left her with a little too much to do at times, but this fast track will play to her strengths if she breaks well today and she can add to her tally today before a possible step up in trip if she stays in training next term.
