Didoe, Hashima and Lord Chamberlain all hold strong claims here, but we will take a chance with Madam Caversfield. The Hannon yard have picked plenty of these type of contests this season and the selection has put in some fair efforts in defeat. The ground was totally against her last time at Newbury, but her previous run on fast ground at Chepstow was a much better effort and she certainly looks on a very favourable mark. Didoe comes here in great heart having chased home Fairy Monarch at Pontefract, she should be fighting for a place. Hashima is steadily improving and doesn't look overburdened on her return to handicaps. Meanwhile Lord Chamberlain put up a solid performance in a claimer last time and has gone well here in the past. In a wide open affair Aggravation and Edge Front are two others in with place claims, but Madam Caversfield has plenty going for her this afternoon and gets the verdict.
