In depth

Verdict

Damon Runyon hasn't really made the expected progress after showing potential last term and looks well exposed while Meqdam disappointed when strongly fancied at Nottingham a month ago after a very promising debut. Medal Winner should improve for his run on ground with plenty of give at Redcar but everything points to a victory for The Queen's filly CLARION. She's by Dubawi out of a mare who won over this trip and looked ready for the step-up when runner-up to Be More at Goodwood with the remainder well beaten.
