Verdict
Chocolate Boy is in really good form at present and looks worth supporting to get the better of Blackmail and The Gaikwar. The selection has plenty in his favour today as he goes well on this track, ran well here last time when third behind Papete and he has ground conditions to suit. Connections may have found a suitable opportunity for him today and he looks the one to beat. Blackmail has been in sound form lately and he put up another sound effort when second behind Lyrical Way on this track last time. However, he is stepped-up in trip here which might not play to his strengths and on that basis he looks worth opposing. The Gaikwar won well over 1m at Bath last time when beating Blue Empire but he tackles this trip for the first time today and as he is by no means guaranteed to stay he is passed over. Absinther is a course and distance winner who would come into this on the pick of his form, but he would need to step-up on recent efforts to get competitive and for the winner we return to Chocolate Boy.
