        Verdict

        This is a competitive handicap in which Landucci, Franksalot, Jools and Tuscarora form the shortlist and the vote is given to Franksalot. The selection finished behind Landucci over this course and distance last time but he has a pull in the weights today and his optimum conditions, and as he should now be spot-on after a couple of runs this season he looks the one to be with at the forecast odds. Landucci has been in good form but he gave the impression last time that the handicapper had caught up with him, and with another 6lbs on his back today he looks readily opposable. Jools is another who finished behind Landucci last time and although he is weighted to get closer today, he still looks to have a little to find. Tuscarora was a decent third behind My Michelle last time at Leicester and if there are any signs of market confidence then he could go well as his yard are very shrewd. However, in a tight race the narrow vote is given to Franksalot.
