Coat Of Honour is a very progressive three-year-old and Sir Mark Prescott's gelding has been found an ideal opportunity to follow up his recent Pontefract win; there is little to choose between the remainder, but Carrowdore is just preferred as the forecast option. The latter has been contesting some good races this season and was not entirely disgraced when sixth at Goodwood last time. This should be a slightly easier task for him and the step up in trip is sure to suit. Literacy faces a stiffer task than he did when winning at Warwick last time, a remark which could also apply to Honeystreet, who carries a six pound penalty for scoring in selling company at Bath recently. But Coat Of Honour carries the same penalty for slamming a decent field at Pontefract last time, when he scored by six lengths from Midnight Song. This son of Mark Of Esteem could be a class act in the making and he rates the best bet on the day's card here.
