        Verdict

        Al Muheer is capable on his day but it's hard to tell when that will be while other old stagers like Copperwood and Fathsta are equally unreliable but still pop-up on occasions. Multiple course winner Shadowtime doesn't look the force of old nowadays but another prolific winner at this track, POLISH WORLD, looks on a tempting mark. He's dropped 10lb since last year's win at Newcastle and it could be his turn again today. Relight My Fire is a dual course and distance winner but in easier races than this though Consign has every chance after a third at Newmarket and is just preferred to Red Explorer.
