Verdict
Different tactics were tried with Kalissi at Catterick where she made all for a convincing victory. This is a much stiffer track on softer ground so she looks vulnerable. NORTHERNPOWERHOUSE attracted some support in a similar race over course and distance a fortnight ago but had absolutely no luck in running and was still only beaten 3l. Compensation awaits though Mr Diamond still looked green when running wide at Wolverhampton and will know more here. Magical Spirit is by the speedster Zebedee but out of a middle-distance mare so whether he'll have the pace for this is a matter of conjecture.
