Verdict
NELLIE ELLIS is in off a light weight and whilst her run at Carlisle has to go down as a disappointment, the filly does have excuses on the soft going and could return to form at a track where she has won twice already. Krypton Factor won a Sandown nursery in decent style before showing nothing at Redcar next time around. The handicapper has not sought to drop him in the weights for that effort. Defence Council is a good looker who has struggled in better opposition and has been handicapped accordingly. Volcanic Dust was not totally disgraced at Kempton last time out and has to be of some interest given that she has been sent up from the Ed Dunlop stable. Ballinargh Girl is watched in the market having landed a gamble at Hamilton.
