Another competitive heat where Bollin Edward, Dancing Deano, Saxon Lil and Le Chiffre should be involved at the business end and we will side with Le Chiffre. The four-year-old is lightly raced and already has a win to his name at this trip last season. His last two runs have been fair and a 10lb drop in the weights will do wonders for his cause. Bollin Edward may start favourite and has the most solid form to bring to the party. That, however, has mainly been confined to 7f, and he has to prove he truly gets home over this extra furlong. The climb towards home won't help his cause and we will oppose. Saxon Lil is another with stamina to prove, and whose general form until a decent run at Goodwood last time has not inspired confidence. Dancing Deano will want a bit of cut to be seen to best effect and again has stamina to prove, so with doubts about those and little else standing out we will take Le Chiffre to score.
