Make Haste is taken to see off his rivals in this handicap; Baan and Pretty Demanding look the most viable alternatives. The selection is a lightly-raced colt from the Roger Charlton yard and he won in workmanlike fashion on his handicap debut when beating Dreams Jewell. He is open to further improvement and he should prove tough to beat. Pretty Demanding has got some fair form in Ireland but the handicapper has taken note and she may need to drop a few pounds before she is able to get her head in front. Baan has not won for nearly two years and after running well at Ripon he was then a little disappointing last time. He struggles for consistency and can't be recommended with any confidence. Dee Cee Elle is a course and distance winner and could prove best of the rest, but Make Haste makes plenty of appeal here and gets the vote.
